What does this mean?
When you sign up to ecommo for £20 per month or £200 for the year, you are provided with a template web design to get you started.
We really like the template design and we also make you a banner and an animated photo application to give your home page that extra special feel.
Some of our members decide that they would really like their website to exactly match the look and feel of their holiday home. For this we provide specialised web design. Normally this costs £350 but we are currently giving you an outrageous discount of £300. This means that a website design is £50!
So If I want a website and new design how much would it cost me?
Option 1: pay monthly. This would cost you £70 in your first month and £20 for the next 11 months.
Option 2: £250 one off charge
By choosing to pay upfront, plus with the design discount you are saving £340!
I still don't understand, why is the design and the website different? I thought website design included everything.
Firstly, you do get a great web design with your membership of £20 per month or £200 per year.
The best way to look at this is using the analogy of the mobile phones where you could change the covers. Initially you paid for the phone and, say, a blue cover but then you decided that a polka dot cover reflected your personality better. You could then go back to the shop and buy a new cover. The phone would stay the same, only the cover changed.
With ecommo, the £20 pounds per month or £200 per year pays for the inner workings of your website plus a template website. The £50 is for us to design you a new and upgraded "cover".
